CHENNAI - Tamil Nadu government Feb. 28 said it has provided financial assistance to a differently-abled woman archer in recognition of her achievements and encourage her to train for global competitions. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa Feb. 27 gave away Rs 1.14 lakh to S Kalaiselvi, who had won three gold medals in a 2012 national championship, to buy new bow, arrow and other necessary equipment, an official statement said.
