emphasized the importance of Diwali and what it meant. Gagandeep Sidhu emcee who himself is a renowned singer, started the program with a own song. Young members of the association entertained the audience with Bollywood dances and folk song and melodies. Women surprised the audience with their Bhangra moves.
School children who submitted their grades were given cash awards and certificates of appreciation. Harry Sidhu, Mayor Anaheim was present and did the honors of awarding the winning students. Certificates of appreciation were given to all performers. A free raffle ticket was given to each member that resulted in five lucky members who won gift cards.
The fun filled evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner and distribution of sweets boxes to all families.
