MONTCLAIR,CA - The Sanatana Hindu Sangha will bring the experience, the splendor, the celebration and the tradition of Kumbh Mela to the Excelsior grounds at the city of Norwalk on Feb 22. Organizers said that they expect during this event, the most colorful happening to be a procession of local Hindu temples and organizations whose cooperation they are seeking.
At the end of the procession, the Ganga Snaan will be performed - the deities from the participating temples will be immersed in a pool sanctified with water from the sacred Ganga. There will be messages from spiritual heads and Swamis of various Hindu traditions, they said. This will be followed by a spectacle of lights and the Ganga Arati.
