traditional “Manglacharan” followed by the lamp lighting. Secretary Prakash Mehta addressed the gathering and introduced the artists from India. The program began with devotional song by Garima Khiste. Hitesh Khiste was on the keyboard along with singer Rakesh Vishale and Ramesh Vora who sang Kishore Kumar and Rafi songs.
Before the break, Bhargav Patel, president, gave detailed information on Shriji Mandir. He introduced all the committee members. All donor trustees were invited on the stage and honored for supporting the Shriji Mandir.
During the break, traditional Diwali snacks were served. This was followed by more melodious songs from Garima Khiste who performed fast numbers urging members of the audience to come forward and dance. The grand finale performance was from Anarkali ``Ye Zindgi Usiki Hai”. Mehta concluded the program by thanking everyone for attending and making it a success.
A grand Diwali dinner was served to all.
