others were together on the stage with ‘shabads’ and ‘katha,’ made sure that nothing was lacking. The Sevadars made sure no stone was left unturned. The program started on time every evening with tea and snacks aplenty and Guru Ka Langar at the end. Bhai Pinderpal Singh was well received for his knowledge of Gurbani and his sharing with the Sangat of ‘katha’ and succinct explanations. The final Keertan Darbar on July 22 was a big success. Preparations were made well in advance. A well organized security detail was in place to make sure everything went smoothly from the parking and handling of the hundreds of people that made a beeline to the Gurudwara. As soon as the sangat got on the grounds, they were greeted with a cornucopia of traditional food and drinks. A full Guru Ka Langar was provided for all to partake at any time. The whole area reverberated with the many Jaikaras of ‘Bole So Nihaal,’ ‘Sat sri akal’ emanating from the Darbar Hall. The devotees enjoyed the program and before long the festivities came to an end with a special vote of thanks for all the sevadars.
