Dharampur, Gurudevshri is a spiritual visionary and a modern day mystic.The celebrations included energetic dedications followed by the screening of a riveting film, ‘Unmoved Mover – A Mystic and His Mission’ on the life of Gurudevshri. In attendance at the event were a number of eminent personalities who felicitated Gurudevshri. Among them were Corona City Councilmember Randy Fox and representatives from local temples and organizations.
Sister Gita of the Brahma Kumaris welcomed Gurudevshri and shared with the audience that she was only a day older then Gurudevshri. She requested Gurudevshri to visit Southern California more often to spread the message of Jainism.
President of Jain Social Group Beverly Hills Rajendra Vora whose great grandmother Jabakben was Shrimad Rajchandra’s younger sister also welcomed Gurudevshri. He said he was fortunate to be part of the celebrations He lauded the role of Mahesh & Usha Wadher, who is a trustee of the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur-USA. Vora presented a US Congressional Recognition to Gurudevshri.In welcoming Gurudevshri, Bharatsinh Zala emphasized the strong respect and bonding between Gurudevshri and Pramukhswami.Books written by Gurudevshri were also launched on the occasion and presented to dignitaries.
Gurudevshri has touched thousands of lives in various countries through enlightening discourses and an array of meditation retreats steering souls towards a spiritual way of life. His preaching inspires one to rise above religious dogma and focus on the Eternal. At present the Mission has 87 centers spread across the globe in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Gurudevshri has uplifted numerous underprivileged lives through the10-fold Love and Care Program which includes health, educational, child, woman, tribal, community, humanitarian, animal, environmental and emergency relief care activities. He has also engineered Shrimad Rajchandra Divine Touch, a journey of inner awakening for children. Around 250 centers worldwide mould the youth and children, shaping a brighter future for them.
