DOWNEY,CA - Bal-Balika of International Shree Swaminarayan Sansthan of Vadtal (ISSSV) Youth winter camp was held at the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir here from Jan 4 to 6, in the presence of Lalji Maharaj and senior sadhus from India as well as sadhus from the Mandir here. The main theme was ‘Day to Day Satsang to Know, Understand, and Connect’. spiritual blessings and happiness. Lalji Maharaj and sadhus guided the children in analyzing various decisions a child could possibly make and explained the merits and challenges of each choice.The presentations helped children to make progress on the path to connect with Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan for betterment of their life.
The camp began by exploring the glory of the Swaminarayan Bhagwan and doing morning personal puja encouraging the young participants to reflect upon how their individual actions can make a difference in their daily life. This concept was brought to life through a variety of scenarios covering subjects including unity, upholding the spiritual tenets prescribed by Bhagwan Swaminarayan, and studying hard.
Lalji Maharaj delivered a series of classroom sessions to provide deeper insight, explaining particularly the importance of satsang and how satsang could mold their behavior and connect their desire to interact among friends and parents as well.
A impressive interactive exhibition was also created by Aarushi Pande and Bansari Amin. Volunteers provided a greater understanding of “Ghar Sabha” and its effects on family bonding and improving one’s self on the spiritual path. There were questions and answers sessions to elaborate on how are useful in their daily life.
During the evening sessions, children offered their personal devotion to Ghansham Maharaj by performing dhun and arti.On the last day shabha was conducted by youth. The concluding keynote address was delivered by Lalji Maharaj, Suryaprakashdas Swami and key organizer Nayanbhai Shukla and Ronakbhai Patel.
