NORWALK, CA – A participatory deepa puja, an annual feature of the Navaratri program at the Sanatana Dharma temple for the past seven years, saw 150 participants this year. Sponsored by the Veda Circle, the group’s puja committee volunteers worked to provide the needed support in set up and collection of puja material.
NORWALK, CA – A participatory deepa puja, an annual feature of the Navaratri program at the Sanatana Dharma temple for the past seven years, saw 150 participants this year. Sponsored by the Veda Circle, the group’s puja committee volunteers worked to provide the needed support in set up and collection of puja material.
Participants who came in were ushered in with all that was needed for the conduct of the worship. Prasad Vinjumury former Chair of the Veda Circle and Pandit Sivaraman led the puja with instructions and chanting. The puja committee volunteer effort was led by Savithri Krishnamurthy with the support of Rukmini Raghunathan.
