
BREA,CA - A grand Durga Puja was observed by the Bangladeshi Hindu community of Sanatan Bengali Society of Southern California at the Bharat Sevashram Sanga West, here from Oct 19 to 21. The festival was organized throughout the day with exciting programs. Lunch and dinner were served to a huge number of devotees. Among the dignitaries present was the Consul General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles and Scientist Kazal Gupta.
Cultural programs were put up by famous artists from India and local artists. Local artists directed by Dulal Goswami put up a drama. Upama Mazumder, cultural secretary coordinated the cultural program.
The festival ended with prayers and a colorful sindur dance. Bidyut Dey, president, thanked all the devotees, guests, and sponsors.
