He was cited for having worked in 2013 on projects for Yash Raj Films. He also helped Yash Raj with Dhoom3, the most expensive film in India and the first to shoot and screen in the IMAX format. A considerable portion of Dhoom3 was shot in Chicago this summer. In addition, he worked with writer and director Vinod Chopra on his first English language film, Broken Horses, produced and financed by international conglomerate Reliance which also has a substantial stake in Dreamworks.
With his roots in India, Peter is the only attorney member of the Los Angeles-India Film Council, an initiative of the Motion Picture Association of America. The Council represents a who’s who list of celebrated producers, directors and filmmakers in both markets. He serves as outside general counsel to the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE). Peter was named one of the 25 most prominent South Asians in the media and entertainment industry by Korn/Ferry International.
