HARTFORD,C.N.- Connecticut State Assembly has honoured Dr. Thomas Abraham, founder president of the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin ,for “helping the South Asian Indian community in becoming the strength of America.” The official citation, signed by Connecticut Assembly Speaker Brendan Sharkey and Secretary of State Denise Merrill was presented at an event held in the assembly building in here to celebrate India’s Republic Day.
