NEW YORK,NY-Jeff Bhasker as a writer and Anoushka Shankar as a musician were among the nominees for the upcoming 59th Grammy Awards. Bhasker is among the songwriters — Robyn Fenty, John-Nathan Glass and Teddy Sinclair — for Rihanna’s “Kiss it Better” in the Best R&B Song category. Other songs up for the award are PartyNextDoor’s “Come See Me” featuring Drake, Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange,” Maxwell’s “Lake by the Ocean”
and Tory Lanez’s “Luv.” Bhasker, at the 58th Grammy Awards, won “Producer of the Year” (non-classical category). Additionally, at the same awards, the Bhasker co-produced “Uptown Funk” was honored with the “Record of the Year” award. Shankar is a five-time Grammy nominee. She is up for the Best World Music Album award for her latest album, “Land of Gold.”
