
LOS ANGELES,CA- Over 250 people of all ages from all around Southern California stepped away from their routine to attend the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations hosted by Jasmin Human Services on May 5 at the Shree Ashtalakshmi Temple in North Hollywood. “Yatra-3-A musical Dance Drama Depicting the Journey of Life”. Sumati Tilve, 101 years old was the guest of honor and she blessed the audience.
Ramesh Mahajan , Charu Shivakumar, Keshav Patel, Shivakumar honored Ravji Patel as the ‘Father of the Community’ and Aparna Hande as the ‘Mother of the community’ in recognition of their selfless services.
The event was emceed by Rachana Srivastava and Charu Shivakumar.
The packed house,of guests was entertained by a wide variety of items including Bharatnatyam, Bollywood dances , semi classical and fusion dance presented by Deepali Vora’s Nityashetra, Paulomi Pandit’s Rangashree, Arathi Srinivas’s Natyadwani, Kamini Boora’s Bollywood troupe, Lalitha Venkatraman’s Laasya Group, Rachana Srivastava’s DanzeRus group, E-light Dance group, Also included was live singing by Padmavathy Balajee followed by Sabari Girish and his talented students. Yatra-3 was a musical dance drama depicting the journey that an individual takes from birth to death from the eyes of the Hindu Trinity with twists and turns that kept the audience entertained for three hours. Jasmin Sivakumaran, Swarit Srivastava and Nidhi Alle played the roles of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma and had a huge round of applause for their wonderful portray. Charu Shivakumar , Founder Director of Jasmin Human Services listed the charitable activities of her Foundation and thanked all for their support.
