VENTURA,CA - In celebration of it’s inception, GOPIO-VC(Ventura County) hosted a fun picnic on the grounds of Arroyo Verde Park here on July 21. A newly created chapter in Ventura County of GOPIO International which was established in 1989 is now among over a hundred chapters in more than 40 countries.

This Global Organization of People of Indian Origin and it’s newest addition in Ventura County is dedicated to serve on the local community level by engaging in worthy civic and social causes by fundraising through cultural events and philanthropic work. GOIPO-VC’s mission is to support the development of Ventura County communities by identifying needs and problem solving. Founding members are a combination of Ventura County business owners and professionals who alongside volunteers are committed and united in the ideal of service for the growth and development of the County. President, Vineet Puri, took the opportunity to invite everyone to join the organization. Saurab Bajaj, Vice President expressed his commitment to the community.
