NORWALK, CA - VEDA (Vedic Education Dissemination and Awareness) Circle, conferred the title of, “Veda Acharya”, on Pandit Sivaramkrishnan at their annual meeting at the Sanatan Dharma Temple, here. He has taught the Sri Rudram, various sukthas and ghanapata to hundreds of students. His students include children as young as 3 to adults in their senior years. Various chanting lessons,
NORWALK, CA - VEDA (Vedic Education Dissemination and Awareness) Circle, conferred the title of, “Veda Acharya”, on Pandit Sivaramkrishnan at their annual meeting at the Sanatan Dharma Temple, here. He has taught the Sri Rudram, various sukthas and ghanapata to hundreds of students. His students include children as young as 3 to adults in their senior years. Various chanting lessons,
bhajan and shloka classes are taught to children and adults, men and women, in all walks of life. In addition to teaching, he led many Vedic yajnas such as several Maharudrams and one Athirudram in the Southern California region for the welfare of the community. Sivaraman Krishnan says – he wants to teach the speech impaired to chant. With the increased cases of Autistic Spectrum Disorder being diagnosed, this service to the community will be well appreciated and received.
Pundit Sivaramakrishnan had his Adhyanam from two eminent organizations: H.H. Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Shri Mahaswami Vidya Peeta Trust at Sivasthanam in Thenambakkam, Kanchipuram and Thiruvidaimarthur Prayoga Pathasala attached to the Kanchi Sankara Mutt. Currently, he is the Chief Priest at the Sanatan Dharma Temple. As the name indicates, the VEDA Circle strives to educate, disseminate and increase awareness of the four Vedas and Dharma. The VEDA Circle actively participates in celebrations and chants at local temples in the greater Los Angeles, Riverside and San Diego areas.
