Physician, foodie, and entrepreneur from the Bay Area, Puneet Chandak disclosed that his reason to open this lavish restaurant in Beverly Hills was the recognition of a strong need for a high-end Indian place with great food and great ambience where one could hold business, social and family gatherings. “The opportunity presented itself in this prestigious location and we delightfully accepted the Endeavour,” he said Sonia Batra who expressed her vision through the interior design elements and colors, commented, “I wanted the décor to express the name `Spice Affair’ as I envisioned it and accomplished it by including colors of exotic spices like cinnamon and saffron in the backdrop of mysterious tones of rich dark chocolate.” The night progressed into a unique fashion show by Rohini Bedi where the theme was food and fashion pairing. While models walked around wearing ethnic Indian attire, attractive dishes were displayed to go with the fashion. The unlimited drinks and appetizers were savored by the 200 plus gathering at the restaurant who mingled and socialized late into the night. The event was organized by Seema Govil of Cosmo City Media and Charmaine Blake of Charmaine PR.
