in the afternoon. The event served as a one- stop shop for every need and want necessary to make the big day a dream come true and the happiest day of the bride and groom’s lives. All of the essential aspects required to make planning and preparation easier on everyone involved was brought together to one location. The brides and grooms present were offered an array of goods and services to choose from. There was an assortment of vendors present. Invitation cards, clothing, jewelry, as well as others like photographers, makeup artists, and restaurants offering delicious samples of their foods for all who dropped by to try.
Amongst the 62 vendors there were some who were offering the same services. However, with the huge number of brides in attendance not everyone would be available on the date of their wedding. So, it was a great idea to have an array of options in existence for every aspect of the wedding day; so it goes off without a hitch.
Overall, the purpose of the event was to bring vendors and brides together in one place. An interesting difference that the South Asian Bride Magazine Wedding Show does not do in comparison to other similar events is that there is no schedule of events or a place for the individuals in attendance to focus on. This is a great technique to maintain focus on the vendors and their products/services rather than get distracted.
Brides mainly attended the event with either their family members or their friends. Even though events like this help prepare for a couple’s big day, the number of grooms in attendance did not even come close to the number of brides at the event.
