IRVINE,CA-‘Sangamam’ an annual bharathanatyam dance showcase of Charulatha Jayaraman of the Shrishti school and her students was held at the Portola High School theater,here on Sept 3. Over 400 people enjoyed the show. The showpiece and the piece de resistance of the event was the dance drama highlighting an episode from the Thirukutrala Kuravanji, a celebrated poem written by the great Tamil poet Thirigudarasappa Kavirayar.
