ORANGE, CA - Hosting events, celebrations, festivities, enlightening the public of our stature, and providing us relief from the strenuous hustle bustle of our daily lives; that’s exactly what The Rajput Association of America does. Rajput Association of America – RAOA, celebrated their 30th Anniversary on July 26,
at the Tandoor Cuisine of India here, with color and pride for ‘RAJPUTS’, young and old. The emcee for the evening was Kewal Kanda. RAOA has been in existence and good standing for the past 30 years, making it one of the oldest organizations in the US. The founders of the RAOA and the President, Yash Singh, Chairman Dharminder Dhunna, Vice president Manjit Dasaur, Secretary Anil Verma, Treasurer Satish Kanda along with committee members have been able to solidify the RAOA and make the organization stronger than it has ever been. The spirit of unity, faithfulness and commitment in this family oriented organization was clearly visible. The theme of the event was ‘Casino Night’, and exceptionally crafted incorporating the fine details in the construction of the ‘casino’ feeling. The cultural event planners, and cultural emcees, Monica Verma, Jyoti Badal, and Vasu Pawar put together, a cultural show, consisting of a variety of dances. To commemorate the 30 years of existence, a souvenir was released.
