NORWALK, CA – The Organization of Hindu Malayalees observed Onam and Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi as a fundraiser for the victims of the Kerala floods. With videos and speeches, appeals were made for donations. The major donors and supporters were honored: Mathew Thomas, B.U.Patel and Nitin Shah.

Several others were thanked for their support including Nanda Kishore. The event, held at the Sanatan Dharma temple here on Sept.8 also saw a traditional cultural program and a vegetarian feast served on banana leaves.
