Continuing the launch, speakers who had read and analyzed the novel were welcomed to the stage to present their views during a book discussion. Each of the four speakers had a specific topic to present.

Finally the most anticipated part of the evening came when Chauhan came to the stage to say a few words. “I was hesitant and not comfortable to write this story,” said Chauhan. She explained how she felt prior to actually writing the novel and how it is based on a true story of an older woman and a younger man.
Nehru then honored Chauhan by presenting her with a shawl. Additionally, all of the speakers were presented with bouquets.
