ALISIO VIEJO, CA –The Orange County India Association participated in the 15th Annual Soka International Festival on May 7, at the beautiful Soka University here. attended the day–long festival which had 900 performers and 250 exhibitors. The Indian- American community was well represented. Awesome group performances were put up by various local dance academies including Mumbai Madness Zumbolly, Arpana Dance Academy, Prance and Dance, Bollywood Rhythm, Amna Dance, Indian Culture & Hindi Gurukul and Ace Montessori Preschools. Kids and adults performed Indian folk and Bollywood dances. The grand finale was spectacular with all the performers joining in for a flash mob on a Bollywood song.
Gungroo, the Indian students association of Soka University also put up a performance. Non- Indian students from Soka University also took part. There was food from all over the world including Indonesian, Turkish, Japanese and of course Indian.
