HUNTINGTON,CA - The American India Foundation (AIF) Orange County chapter celebrated sixteen years of the organizations instrumental contributions to India under their five programs of education, livelihood, public health, leadership, and gender focus to help those living in India. The 5th annual gala took place in North Orange County and drew over 300 local community professionals in attendance on March 17,
at the Pasea Resort here with master of ceremonies, comedian, Anish Shah. The gala honored the achievements of Kevin & Nita Parikh of the Avasant Foundation and highlighted the success made by the OC contributions to the AIF programs. The gala was chaired by MSI International and Tarsadia Foundation. The gala raised over $500,000. The live auction was hosted by Matt Rogers.
The evening was filled with traditional Indian cuisine, a live performance by Molodi (as seen on Good Morning America) as well as a live auction with International travel packages, a cultural one of a kind art piece painted live by Gregory Adamson and a unique wine and culinary experience at Gagnon Cellars of Temecula.
