Parents of the yogic kids expressed their personal amazement at the ability—what first started as disbelief quickly became encouragement as they noticed the kids were not only reading blindfolded, but were also expressing much more confidence, joy, intelligence and intuitive abilities. Ma Yogamaatha’s mother shared, “Yogamaatha is showing me everyday what it means to believe in yourself and know that you can do anything. The way she approaches life or tackles problems is so beautiful and inspiring. She expresses so much intelligence and maturity; she is able to learn new subjects so quickly after the initiation. We knew that when we enrolled her in the Gurukul, Swamiji was going to teach her to be successful and a better human being but we never expected this. “
Event organizers explained that research to understand the science behind this phenomenon has just started in India. “The scientific community and public will be equally impressed with the findings as they are with the expression of power itself, “ said Ma Nithya Viroopananda, vice chancellor of Nithyananda University and the master of ceremonies at one of the events. She further stated, “Swamiji says that blindfold reading is just one of the abilities expressed and not the goal. Once you awaken your third eye, the goal is to live the life you want as you want it.”
In his spiritual discourses Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains - “The third eye, also called the Ajna Chakra, is located between the eyebrows and is considered as a gateway to higher consciousness. Almost all religions and mystical traditions have worked on the third eye. Awakening the third eye is not mystical alone, it can be directly experienced in the physical plane. It can help with the your day-to-day life. What we see with our regular two eyes is not reality. The third eye makes us see the higher reality,
experience life in a richer way than otherwise possible. Work on your third eye. Have initiation and see to it your third eye is awakened. By not having the third eye awakened, you are missing something very seriously in life. It’s like if the next level iPad is released and you are not having it—you are missing out.”
