BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Congressman Ro Khanna who represents Silicon Valley, was in SoCal for a fundraiser, held at Spice Affair restaurant here on July 20. Speaking to the intimate gathering of prominent local Indian-Americans, Khanna said the Indian- American Representatives were doing a great job in Washington D.C.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Congressman Ro Khanna who represents Silicon Valley, was in SoCal for a fundraiser, held at Spice Affair restaurant here on July 20. Speaking to the intimate gathering of prominent local Indian-Americans, Khanna said the Indian- American Representatives were doing a great job in Washington D.C.
All of them, including Congresswoman Pramila Jaypal, Congressmen Raja Krishnamoorthi and Ami Bera were well respected and recognized and on important House committees. Khanna said he wanted to be known as the economic thinker and job creator in Congress. Talking about the upcoming elections in November, he said his seat was safe but in politics you can never take things for granted . He appealed for continued community support. He assured that as his experience in Congress increases his clout in the House committees will increase and he will get better positions as time passes. Khanna revealed that President Trump is popular in parts of the country and a formidable opponent for Democrats. The fundraiser was co chaired by Inder Singh, Puneet Chandak, Dr Bharat Patel, Ritu and Navneet Chugh.
