Banerjee, along with the megastars, inaugurated the museum at the Netaji Indoor Stadium during the opening ceremony of the 20th Kolkata International Film Festival. The museum will be officially thrown open for public viewing Tuesday onwards. Veteran wax sculptor Susanta Ray, who has a smaller wax museum in Asansol in Burdwan district of West Bengal, has crafted the statues. The project has been implemented by the Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation.
