Since Delhi has emerged as a hung state and the BJP as the single largest party, the Governor of Delhi has invited Dr. Harsh Dhavan BJP leader to explore the possibilities of forming a stable government. Dr. Harsh Dhavan is not likely to accept the offer as he does not have majority of 36 members. If he declines the offer, the Governor may invite Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal to explore the possibilities of forming a stable government. If they don’t agree, the Government may bring Delhi state under Presidential rule for six months and hold new elections along with the parliamentary elections in Delhi in May 2014. The mood and the trend of the people at large is not leaning towards Congress as is evident from the November poll results. The same voters may not change their views in six months period between December 2013 and May 2014. This may, however, depend upon various factors.
