Ingredients
10 Fresh skinless chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoon plain or Greek yogurt ...
5/6 garlic cloves
2 tblsp olive oil
Salt as per taste
One whole lemon juice
4 bunches of cilantro
Chicken masala
Mint leaves 8 to 10
4 to 5 Serrano chillies
Method
Coarse grind, ginger, garlic, cilantro, mint leaves, chillies and Greek yogurt in a blender. Add olive oil, chicken masala and lemon, mix well
Wash the drumsticks and pat dry, make 3 to 4 slits on each one of them.
Dip all the drumsticks in this marination rubbing the mixture well into the meat, and leave covered for four hours, or overnight.
Line the drumsticks in a silver foil tray, throw in cut capsicums and onions randomly, sprinkle chicken masala over the drumsticks, cover with silver foil with slits and cook in preheated oven for 400 degrees centigrade for an hour, till well done. Allow the drumsticks to turn little brown, do not dry up the sauce completely leave some sauce to make the drumsticks juicy serve hot with lemon and onion rings. Interesting facts about the recipe
