Sidharth Malhotra, who will be seen next in forthcoming film “Ek Villain,” is set to make his television debut as host of the show “Ek Villain Ek Daastan.” The show will feature iconic Bollywood villains, with Sidharth taking viewers through a journey about their lives. “It is my first venture into the Indian television space, and I am excited to host the show. I am honored to be part of discovering Bollywood’s iconic villains.
We, as actors, draw inspiration from our seniors and veterans, and I am lucky to get this opportunity to learn more about their journey hands on,” Sidharth said in a statement here. In the show, the “Student of the Year” actor will present a recap of the villains who have been an integral part of Bollywood. The show will feature their individual filmographies, on-screen memories, behind-the-scenes happenings and epic dialogues. “Ek Villain Ek Daastan” will cover the lives of noted anti-heroes like Amrish Puri, Amjad Khan, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, Ranjeet, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sanjay Dutt, Danny Denzongapa, Prem Chopra, Ajit and Pran among others. The show goes on air from June 23 on Zoom channel.
