NORWALK,CA – To commemorate the 150th anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi, a landmark event on Women Empowerment aimed to empower marginalized Indian women was organized at the Sanatan Dharma Temple, on June 30 and July 1, hosted by Life Global and Life Global California chapter. help them rise with dignity and self-esteem was recalled.
The event began with the singing of the American national anthem and lighting of the lamp.
Dr Bhanji Kundaria,Secretary of California chapter gave an introductory brief about Life Global and Project ‘Life’ India based in Gujarat,India.
Founder of Tarsadia Group & Chairman of California Chapter B.U. Patel welcomed all.
On behalf of Life Global and Padma Shri Dr Sudhir Parikh, B. U. Patel presented certificates of Expression of Gratitude to members of California Chapter for their invaluable contribution.
To first session begain with a mind power seminar titled ‘Unleash the Power of Your Subconscious Mind’ by renowned mind trainer and Global Ambassador of Life Global Dr Jeetendra Adhia. His book ‘Spring of Inspiration’ was also unveiled.
As a tribute to Gandhiji,postal stamps and mint currency issued by the Government of India to mark his 150th birth anniversary was unveiled by the dignitaries . As many as 19 board and advisory members of California particiapated in the unveiling program.
Harish Solanki ,Youth Patron of Life Global was the emcee. He introduced Rushikesh Pandya, Chief Development Officer of Project ‘Life’ and briefed the audience about his two decade association with Project ‘Life’ India and also about his expertise in networking, education and women empowerment program.
Pandya briefed the audience about Project ‘Life’ India and its various activities, including one of the core program on Women Empowerment targeted on holistic development of marginalized women in India.
President of Life Global, Ganpat Patel along with chief patron Manhar Shah lauded the efforts of Project ‘Life’ India and how it can be taken further.
During the event Solanki announced the support of the California Chapter for various projects undertaken by Life Global and Project ‘Life’ India including education, healthcare and women empowerment. Various dignitaries extended their whole hearted support for the program. B.U. Patel extended his support through Women Empowerment Micro Finance. Bhanji Kundaria with Harish Solanki & Dr Himmat Tank, Dr Jasvant Modi, Amar Shah,Chiman Adial sponsored a batch of 25 women under the Women Empowerment Program while Dr Jiten Vasa and Dr Nitin Shah also sponsored two women. Chinman Adial gave the vote of thanks.
