The Vijay Sankalp Yagnya which was open to all to attend,
was performed with a prayer for Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to be re-elected to office. General elections in India are slated to take place in May. The program began with a general meeting. Vijay Patil, OFBJP General Secretary welcomed the audience and explained the purpose of the event.
“Today we are performing a traditional Yagnya with a prayer and desire that the New India movement under Modi Ji’s leadership should continue,” said Patil. Continuing, he said, “The transformational changes that have taken place in the last four years need a prominent leader, none other than Modi Ji who can continue the momentum.”
Patil additionally described that this was the first part of the Yagnya and that the concluding Yagnya will take place in May after the elections.
Raju Patel then requested the audience to take a vow of silence for a moment to observe the recent passing of Chinu Thaker, Trustee of Gayatri Mandir, who passed away recently.
Manmohan Chopra, Gopal Chaturvedi, Rangesh Gadasali, Pranav Y. Desai, Ashok Patnaik and Jitu Patel were each given an opportunity to address those in attendance.
