Indian-American organizations including Lions Club, American Hindu Foundation, HSS, VHP, ICS, UFICA, and others.
Indian- Americans who attended the function were very happy to learn that the BJP performed remarkably well in different states in India under the astute leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.
P.K. Nayak, Convener of OFBJP Los Angeles said they wanted to show support for the reforms that the PM is undertaking to ‘Make India Great Again.’
“ We are looking forward to seeing our motherland India return to its glory soon,” he added. Vijay Patil, Membership Convener of the local chapter thanked all the attendees and welcomed new members to the organization who officially registered for the OFBJP membership at the event. Krishna Reddy, President of OFBJP USA, joined the celebration via a video conference and congratulated the attendees and thanked them for their support. A congratulatory letter was signed by over hundred attendees which was sent to the PM Office and BJP headquarters in India. The celebration also included the cutting of a large cake decorated with a BJP logo and a congratulatory message to Modi, Amit Shah and the BJP team. The organizing team included Surendra Sharma, Latesh Bhambani, Sourabh Tandon, Pranav Desai, Gopal Chaturvedi, Manmohan Sharma, Vasu Pawar and Parimal Shah.
