CERRITOS,CA-The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin - Los Angeles Chapter (GOPIO-LA) unanimously elected Navin Gupta as its president for a two- year term (2016-2017).The following persons were also elected unanimously as part of the executive committee: Kewal Kanda – Chairman; Anju Garg –
Vice President; Soruba Rani Kuusto – Secretary; Anshuman Sinha – Treasurer; Venkat Gopalan – Joint Secretary. Following five persons were elected to chair the sub-committees: Deepi Singh – Healthcare; Kalika Gupta – Youth Affairs; Mini Guleria – Community; Rajinder Dhunna – Business Affairs, Aparna Hande – Women Affairs. Ashok Madan, NFIA president, administered the oath of office to all officers and congratulated them after declaring them officially installed.Many community leaders from various organizations were present at the oath taking ceremony. Navin Gupta is an IT engineer with a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Currently he is employed as Director of Product Development at ADP, a Fortune 300 company. Navin has been active in the community for the last seven years. He is a founding member of GOPIO-LA chapter.
