dental services, mammograms were performed and more than 50 people went through EKG tests and 200 had blood tests. Patients were given the opportunity to see doctors in fields of dentistry, internal medicine, ophthalmology, cardiology, orthopedic, dermatology, among others under one roof in a matter of hours.
A presentation was held where Dr. Jasvant Modi, Mahesh Wadher, Dr. Ramesh Kothari, the coordinator of the health fair and Mayor Pro Tem of Buena Park Arthur Brown addressed the participants and volunteers.Brown visited the event with his wife. He has attended all the health fairs in the past too. He was very happy to witness the services provided by medical and non-medical personnel, and to see more and more non-Indians taking advantage of these free services. Help was provided by ABC school led by Karen Denis, Lestonnac free clinic, students from KGI pharmacy school in Claremont, Indian Pharmacists Association lead by Tapsaya Desai and many dedicated volunteers. Breakfast and lunch was freshly cooked and provided to more than 100 volunteers and many patients.
