Abhinav Shukla did when they embraced the venue with their poetry. The emcees Dr. Asmath Noor and Sunil Garg did a good job interspersing their remarks with humorous poetry of their own. The poets touched every heart by covering day to day aspects of life. Their style of delivery and words were powerful and effective and guests could not control their laughter. They picked emotional and humorous topics like marriage, romance, politics and many more which made the listeners’ hearts melt. Abhinav Shukla surprised the audience by his gesture of honoring Dr. Noor in the traditional Indian way by touching her feet and presenting her with a shawl for being a brave mother who sent her only son Sergeant Danish Noor to the US Army, who has excelled in his performance and has received the best soldier award. It was a night of laughter filled with tears of joy to the very end. GOPIO – LA President Anju Garg, Kewal Kanda, Trustee and Dr. Asmath Noor, Secretary along with the team were the hosts for the event.
