GSSC, a non-profit organization, which seeks to connect Gujaratis in Southern California, organized the event at the Sanatan Dharam Temple here. Over 600 people attended this packed event with prominent attendance from local college students who caused a raucous at the event through their youthful response to some of the comedians’ classic punchlines.
The evening started with a pre-event dinner hosted by the Society and the event kicked-off with an introduction by Varun Gandhi and Earth Shah, two members of the Youth Committee who welcomed the guests, provided an update for the next events, and welcomed the comedian trio to a boisterous response from the community. The Comedy Factory is a unique Gujarati comedy program, founded by Desai with Rawal, an NRIs from Florida, and Mistry, an engineer by profession. The trio’s comedy acts often garner hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and are currently touring across North America.
