LOS ANGELES,CA- The United Federation of Indo-Americans in California (UFICA) recently held it’s election and the following office bearers were elected for the calendar year 2017. President - Charu Miglani;Executive VP - Ramesh Ramnani; Secretary - Vasu Pawar; Treasurer - Dr. Vinod; Vineet VP Cultural - Vinita Vineet; Community Outreach - Chander Miglani. Vinod Dudheker, previously the president has now become the chairman.
Ashok Patnaik and AJ Dudheker conducted the election and the oath formalities.
Charu Miglani a resident of the City of Cerritos and a small business owner dealing in medical devices held a series of increasing responsibilities within UFICA which included various positions and most recently developing the website. Her contribution to the organization deserves much accolades since the inception of UFICA organization and has great plans to help and support the community in the forthcoming year. Her boundless energy along with her vision and mission will augur well to the Indian community as well as the community-at-large. Upon being elected as the president, Charu exuded confidence in the team members and felt that as an organization, UFICA will carry the same tradition of holding ‘Melas’ in Southern California.
Other members such as Niraj Agnihotri, Alka Patel, AJ Dudheker, Harish Dhruv, Dr. Rangeash Gadasalli and Ashok Patnaik will continue to lend support to the organization.
