who worked hard to prepare the venue. The guests were welcomed to the stunning restaurant all done up with bright floral arrangements, a delicious menu, and a live guitarist.
With strong core beliefs consisting of compassion and dedication, the Care for the Cause team strives to make a positive difference at all levels of human suffering by working to raise awareness on several social issues. This year, they chose to donate their proceeds to Chhoti Si Asha, a volunteer driven social enterprise that works to build sustainable livelihoods for the underprivileged women & youth in Chandigarh. Founded in 2006, Chhoti Si Asha operates a livelihood program where the community members learn vocational skills for making an array of hand-stitched products.
Kristeen Singh and Krishna Dahya, two affiliates of Chhoti Si Asha brought several of these handmade products, including women’s wallets and handbags, for purchase at the luncheon. In addition to these items, several gorgeous pieces from Prathaa and Khushy Designs, some of which were seen on the runway, were also available for sale with a portion of proceeds going to the Chhoti Si Asha Foundation. The striking models and designs, incredible venue, and above all, the heartwarming support that was displayed were the highlights of this event.
