NEW DELHI - Shiv Nadar, founder and chairman of HCL and the Shiv Nadar Foundation, has been named India’s ‘Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year’ (2014) by Forbes India Magazine as part of their annual philanthropy awards. The flagship award recognizes Nadar as an individual whose leadership and contributions in philanthropy has brought in new thinking into solving complex social issues, a statement said here Jan 9.
