the lamp lighting by the grand sponsors Avadhesh and Uma Agarwal, special guests Suresh and Nalini Bhatti, Dr. Jayanti and Dr. Bhavana Patel, Nalini Solanki, City of La Palma councilman Nitesh Patel, Bhupesh and Kumud Parikh, Babul Singh and Dr. Rashmi Desai. The musical entrainment was provided by a group of well-known artists including Anis Chandani, who plays multiple instruments, Suresh Bhatt and Mosami Shah. Singers were accompanied on tabla by master of rhythms Deepak Kumar and young rhythmist Rishi Thaker. Three Board of Directors – Jiten Patel, Meeta Randeria and Rasik Patel, were recognized for their dedicated and selfless services to the organization and the community for the past six years. Certificates of appreciation were given out. Jiten Patel thanked all for coming and praised the volunteers for their efforts in putting together a wonderful celebration. All guests were served a delicious vegetarian dinner.
