MONTEBELLO, CA - Devotees of Shri Nand Shiv Durga Mandir here celebrated Durga Ashtami and Ram Navmi on April 13 with great devotion and joy. Chaitra Navratri started on April 6 when Ramayana Paath was read by various devotees every day for three hours until April 13.
MONTEBELLO, CA - Devotees of Shri Nand Shiv Durga Mandir here celebrated Durga Ashtami and Ram Navmi on April 13 with great devotion and joy. Chaitra Navratri started on April 6 when Ramayana Paath was read by various devotees every day for three hours until April 13.
The events started from 6 pm every day with children reciting Doha from Ramayana, bhajans, kanya puja and arti. Bhajans were sung by Laxmi Shad, Seema and Ravi Kanda.
Temple President Dr. Yogesh Arora raised funds for temple improvement and devotees gave generously.
