and flour to evoke the energy from the sun. The kalash symbolized that the power of spirituality is the same so all spiritual paths are the same, and to respect and not discriminate against other paths. Dr. Chinmay Pandya, son of the head of the organization, Dr. Pranav Pandya, and three singers/musicians -  Raj Kumar Vaishnav, Omkar Pandar, and Pushkar Raj -came from India to perform the appropriate  Vedic hymns for the event.
This was followed by the Mahakal Sthapana which consisted of two parts to install the Shivling into the Gayathri Chetna Center. The first part called Dus Snan (10 elements shower) was where the Shivling is showered with ten ingredients which are soil, cow duct, milk, gangajal (holy water), yogurt, honey, sugar, chandan (sandalwood powder), kum kum ( red powder)  and ashes. The final step of the Dus Snan was to wash the Shivling with clean water.
The second part of the Mahakal Sthapana is the Pran Sanchar in which Dr. Pandya meditated to summon the cosmic energy of the sun and Shiva into the Shivilng. Also, Pandya asked everyone in attendance to be very quiet for about 15 minutes.
Following that was the 51 Kundi Yagya. In this part too, Dr. Pandya requested all devotees to bow down to the cosmic energies which were now in the Shivling. He then continued with the 51 Yagya Kund which was a fire ceremony where 150 couples surrounded the havan (fire pit).
Concluding the whole event came the Purnahuti, in which Dr. Pandya asked all devotees to realize that god is perfect and for everyone. Therefore we all need to try and be perfect. The translated motto of the All World Gayathri Pariwar organization is, “If you change yourself, the world will change and if you transform yourself, the world will be transformed.”
