took place at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple here. The celebration started with the Pothi Yatra on Dec 20.The highlight of the event was the arrival of the current leader of the organization, Maharajshri Koshalendra Pande on Dec 23 along with his mother and father, Maharajshri Tajendra Pande. The family attended every event.
The Abhishek of Shree Swaminarayan and Shree Radha and Krishna took place on Dec 25. Devotees took the idols and bathed them in water, milk , yogurt and sugar. The Abhishek is considered the holiest aspect of the week. Raas Garba took place that evening at the Sanatan Dharma Temple. On Dec 27, the final day, the kathaa focused on Sneh Gita and the discourse was given by Surya Prakash Swami, the main Swami of the Los Angeles Temple. In addition there were five more Swamis from temples in the US as well as from India, in attendance. An annakut darshan and aarti concluded the event
