advisory capacity in matters pertaining to public recreation, making budget recommendations and assists in planning a recreation program to stimulate public interest. Regular meetings of the Parks and Recreation Commission are held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month, except for the months of January and April, at the City Hall Council Chambers. The local residents are welcome to attend these meetings so that suggestions can be given to the commission.
Patnaik a long term Cerritos resident holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Degree with an MBA from Pepperdine University. Currently he assists Small Business Owners in SBA lending and works at the Platinum West Funding, Artesia, CA. He is also the Director-At-Large with National Federation of Indo-Americans (NFIA).
