WASHINGTON: As many as 567 Indians were deported to India by federal law enforcement agencies, while more than 6,360 Indians were detained at the U.S. border during the same period as they tried to sneak into the country. The figures were released by U.S. immigration and Custom enforcement to the North American Punjabi Association under the Freedom of Information act which is similar to Right to Information Act in India.
