LOS ANGELES - In an exciting unveiling, the $ 300,000 wax likeness of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, on loan from Madame Tussauds in London, was inducted into its Hollywood counterpart  on January 28. He was appropriately  welcomed to the temporary new location in the presence of  media and the public  by members of  the Bollywood group “ Ishaara “ which created  quite a stir in the 2009 season of  the reality show “ America’s got talent.”

A spokesman said the exhibit in Hollywood is in celebration of the star’s 20th year as the “ King of Bollywood” and the 44 year-old Khan is the first Bollywood star to be inducted here. The historic addition of his figure symbolizes a coming together of the world’s two great film centers, Hollywood and Bollywood.

The wax figure will be on display in Hollywood upto April 30 when it will return home to the UK.
