NEW DELHI - Rich tributes were paid to Mahatma Gandhi on his 62nd death anniversary on Jan 30 with President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh leading the country in remembering the Father of the Nation.
Vice President M Hamid Ansari UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Defense Minister A K Antony, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and three service chiefs were among others to pay their tributes at Rajghat, memorial of the Father of the Nation.A large number of school children were also present during the remembrance function held at the Rajghat.
