ORLANDDO, FL - Forward Ron Artest debuted a new hairstyle at the Amway Arena here on March 7 as he and the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Orlando Magic, in a rematch of the 2009 NBA finals. Artest revealed his new hairdo - a bleached blonde crop with the word “defense” in Hindi, Japanese and Hebrew inscribed in Lakers purple.
The hairstyle obviously didn’t do the trick as the Lakers lost 96-94 and Artest allowed Vince Carter who he was guarding, to score 25 points.
