BUENA PARK, CA – Parkash Purbs of Guru Har Rai, the seventh Guru of the Sikhs, and Bhagat Ravi Daas whose 40 Shabads are enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib, were celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm at Gurdwara Buena Park on February 28. More than 800 people attended the program jointly organized and hosted by the Sangat of Kabul living in California and the devotees of Bhagat Ravi Daas.

After the conclusion of the Akhand Path of Guru Granth Sahib, Hazoori Raagi Jatha Bhai Randhir Singh sang Shabads written by Bhagat Ravi Daas and contained in Guru Granth Sahib. Groups of children, and a Bibi also sang Shabads. Giani Iqbal Singh delivered a lecture on the life and teachings of Guru Har Rai and Bhagat Ravi Daas.
