A tremor measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 6.11 am in Nuwakot.
A 4-magnitude quake was recorded at 6.31 a.m. with its epicentre in the border area of Dhading and Gorkha districts.
Two more aftershocks of 4.2 magnitude with eoicentres at Lalitpur and Makanpur were recorded at 9.24 a.m.
Seismologists have urged the people not to worry about the minor aftershocks and denied rumours in social media and other online media about earthquakes.
The aftershock on Saturday evening triggered several landslides in Dolakha district which was hit hard in second big quake on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nepal’s Department of Mines and Geology on Saturday unveiled a Nepal Earthquake Updates app to disseminate real time information about earthquakes. Details of quakes measuring over 4 on the Richter scale will be disseminated immediately, Lok Bijaya Adhikari of the department said.
